Introduction
There is a tremendous amount of debate floating around as to whether stem cells should be used for research purposes. Such questions which have been raised are:
- Where do the stem cells come from?
- How will the stem cells be used?
- Could the stem cells be used inappropriately for genetic alteration in healthy human beings?
As a scientist you need to decide whether the use of stem cells is ethical and should be used for such diseases as cancer research.
