Welcome Back Mavericks!
This is a very exciting school year, because I believe it will be your most successful in Chemistry. I have heard all the rumors about the difficultly of Chemistry, but I think this year will be different.
As a class we are going to be using an online tool called Blackboard which will give you access to tons of information to make you successful in Chemistry. There are online quizzes to sharpen your skills and other items to assist you in gain the knowledge of the physical world.
Did I mention there is no homework in this class?

Welcome Back Parents
This will be a fun and exciting year for your son or daughter in Chemistry. There will be an online tool which will help your student be successful in Chemistry at La Costa Canyon. The online tool, called Blackboard, will have notes, online quizzes, guided practice, and more. I believe these resources will create success and a desire to learn this year.
Along with the Blackboard web site, students will also be able to meet with me online for tutoring outside of the classroom. I realize your student is busy with sports and extracurricular activities which makes it difficult to get to tutoring after school. Therefore I will have an online medium setup to meet and ask questions. I will give more information as the school year progresses.
