Blackboard
This year I will be using Blackboard to give you information about the course. Your student will be given a login and password to access the following information:
- PowerPoints (Notes)
- Guided Practice
- Answer Keys
- Online Quizzes
- Modern Chemistry Textbook Online
- Unit Objectives
- Vocabulary Terms
Accessing this information will be an important part of participation for the course. I will be able to track your students progress in real time through online quizzes. The online quizzes will be graded instantaneously and feedback given after submission. This will allow your son or daughter to determine weaknesses in content so they can become more successful in the course. Students should be accessing the information on Blackboard a minimum of one time per day.
As parents you will not have direct access to the Blackboard site; however I encourage you to sit down with your son or daughter to review the content and see what is available to them 24 hours a day.
